There are a few different places online that you can sell various stuff, and so I will highlight three of my favorites.

One great place, especially if you make your own crafts, is to sell them on a place called Etsy!  Etsya allows you to setup a shop that sells your crafts.  Many people who are looking to buy such crafts browse around Etsy looking for great stuff to buy.  If you think of a great craft that you can make and sell then you can definitely sell it online at Etsy!  This is also a great money making idea for kids to be able to make some crafts and sell them on there.  It can teach your kids about business and money, and how to save and spend the money that they earn!

Craigslist is a great place to sell stuff from around your home that you are wanting to get rid of.  You can sell furniture that you may want to upgrade, or stuff that you just don't use anymore.  It's a free version of a newspaper classified ads, and it reached quite a lot of people who are browsing around on Craigslist looking for a deal.  Some people may try to haggle you down on your prices, so definitely price the items a tad higher than you will accept for them so that when people haggle you down, you're still willing to sell for that lower price.

You can sell almost anything on eBay (people have even tried selling their souls, though such auctions are quickly taken out of the system).  If you have anything around your house, you may be able to sell it on eBay.  One thing that does really well is to sell antiques on eBay.  There are many people looking to buy antiques on there, and so if you have some to sell, or maybe you inherited some that you don't want to keep, then selling them on eBay can be a great way to get rid of them and get some extra cash too.

Another way to make money by selling stuff on eBay, is to buy products for wholesale and then resell them on eBay for more than you paid for them.  If you charge them customer for shipping, then you'll always make a profit if you price the items for more than you paid for them.
