The Top Wii Accessories

There are many different Wii accessories available on the market, and some of them are epic fails, but other ones can be quite useful or add to your gaming experience. There are many different kinds and categories so I will go into some of the top ones that i think you will like and can help you if you are planning on buying some accessories for your Wii.

Wii Guns

If you haven't seen a Wii gun, these are pretty awesome. For some of us, it brings back memories of the original light gun from the original Nintendo. Though, since your Wii remote can function as a gun, the Wii guns are simply shells that you can fit the Wii remote into in order to make it feel like you are holding a gun to use on many of the Wii shooting games that are available.

There are even crossbows that are in the Wii gun category, but you can get rifles, shotguns, and various style of handguns to use with your Wii remote.

Wii Sports Accessories

Wii Sports was one of the hottest games ever, since it came with every single Wii console that was sold.  Many people loved this introduction to the Wii.  It allowed you to do bowling, golfing, baseball, tennis, and more.  Soon after the Wii came out, people started coming out with Wii Sports accessories for people to use.  Just like the guns are shells to fit the remote into, these are the same thing.  They are mini baseball bats, tennis rackets and golf clubs that you put the Wii remotes in and then you can play the various games by having a more realistic thing to hold in your hand.

Wii Batteries

While they are not silly addons, they are extremely important for being able to continually play your favorite games on the Wii.  If you play a lot or if your kids play a lot, then you will start to notice that you can start to go through AA batteries really quickly.  So, if you buy a Wii battery pack, and get a charger for the batteries, then you can recharge your battery packs so that once one runs out you just switch it with a charged one.

Or, if you are diligent about putting the remotes away on the charger, then the remotes battery can charge over night so that you have a fresh new battery to play with in the morning.

Hi there,

Nice article - I like the way you have summed them up in 3 accessory types. I'd like to connect with you on Twitter or Facebook if possible.

Keep up the great work
