Treatments for Getting Rid of Acne Overnight
By The Break
Acne sucks no matter when you get it, but don't you hate just waking up and then seeing that your face has broken out? It is even worse when it is a big day and your face breaks out. While some of these tips I have below won't necessarily help you to get id of acne right now, they will be some tips that you can use as overnight acne treatments to help you to get rid of acne you have before going to bed as well as to prevent acne in the future from happening when you sleep.
Wash Your Face
Using a face wash or a cleanser that contains salicylic acid will be a great way to start to prevent acne breakouts. it will help you to get rid of any oil that may be on your face from throughout the day as well as any excess dirt that may have accumulated, and that are clogging up your pores which can lead to acne breakouts. When you wash your face though, you want to make sure that you are gentle because you don't want to irritate your face, because that can lead to more breakouts. If you wash your face gently and pat your face dry, then you'll begin to notice a different when you wake up in the morning, as far as your acne goes.
Ice Your Face
Just like you would want to ice your leg, your back or your shoulder when you hurt yourself, you wil lwant to ice your face after washing it in order to help to prevent acne. Make sure that you target your pimples with the ice pack. Do it for a few minutes, then take it off of your face for a short break. Continue to apply and take off every few minutes for at least 20 minutes.
Toothpaste? Really?
I have saved the best (and weirdest) thing for last. If you want to get rid of existing pimples, then you will want to apply toothpaste to your pimples. You will want to make sure that you use gel toothpaste and then apply it directly to each of your pimples. It should dry in a few minutes, then you can go to bed. Keep the toothpaste on all night and then when you get up in the morning, just rinse your face with some warm water and the toothpaste will come right off and you'll notice that the pimple irritation has gone down. Then, just rinse your face with cold water to clog up your pores, and you're golden!
Conclusion
If you take these steps, a mix of preventative measures as well as active treatments, you'll notice a major reduction in the acne breakouts you'll experience. Just do these steps every night and you'll see a drastic improvement in the overall healthiness of your skin because of these tips that help you to get rid of acne overnight!
